Shipping

We ship three days a week to get things out in a timely fashion. We pride ourselves in shipping quickly and if there is a delay we will email you from Shipping@MermaidsOnCapeCod.com. Please note that if you order on a Thursday, we are usually out on the Mobile Boutique Friday-Sunday and will not ship until Monday morning. We are happy to ship Priority or Express if you choose to pay the extra fee, but otherwise please note that we ship First Class to locals. Thank you!

Returns

Exchanges can be made within 30 days of purchase easily in person or through the mail. Returns only within 14 days of purchase. Please send all exchanges to Mermaids on Cape Cod 862 Main St (RT 28) W. Dennis, MA 02670 with a DETAILED note of exchange. Please be sure to include your size that you would like the exchange, color preference if one is available. Include your email, phone number, and receipt if you have one. Please retain your post office receipt in case of lost packages, we are not responsible for lost merchandise if there is no tracking number. We will make your exchange in a timely fashion once the items are in hand. We will contact you by phone or email if there are any questions. You can also find us in person at the Mermaids on Cape Cod Boutique or at any of our mobile boutique locations by using our calendar of events online

All Sale Items & Jewelry, Accessories including Sunglasses or Readers are Final Sale-Items cannot be returned or exchanged

Please note that all sale items are non-refundable, non-returnable. Jewelry damaged due to ocean, chlorine, and skin discoloration is not returnable. Any clothing worn or damaged in the wash or by pets is not the fault of MMCC, Inc and we reserve the right to refuse damages in misuse. Any item damaged by faulty manufacturing is welcome to be exchanged within 30 days of purchase.

When will my exchange ship/be refunded

  • Please allow 2 weeks from the time your return/exchange is delivered for it to be processed.
  • If the item requested is unavailable, we will issue an email  with a coupon code for the cost of the item.
  • Once your return/exchange is processed we will email you an updated tracking number

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. -15 Days for Full Credit    16-30 Days Exchange ONLY

If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return within the time period, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

If the error was ours- EMAIL Shipping@MermaidsOnCapeCod.com and explain the situation. We are happy to send you the correct item and a Return Authorization shipping label.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Jewelry, sunglasses or readers, worn or used merchandise, undergarments, soiled or damaged by customer goods, outdoor vendor purchases, sale pieces.

Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards
Downloadable software products
Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery must be OK'd by Shaz

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at shipping@MermaidsOnCapeCod.com.

Sale items are non-returnable, non-refundable -(if applicable) funds will be donated to a local food bank and clothing donated to a shelter or donation facility.
Only regular priced items may be refunded within the time period, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at Shipping@MermaidsOnCapeCod.com and send your item to Mermaids On Cape Cod 855 RT 28 West Dennis, Ma 02670

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will handle about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

 

DONATIONS

How much of the proceeds go to our fundraisers? 100% if stated it is to raise funds- selected other percentages will clearly be listed on an individual item. 

  • We donate 10% of net profits of designated items to various charities nationally and on Cape Cod to help save and protect our ocean Eco-system. 
  • Primarily we assist Marine Life Centers and Local Non Profit Food Banks
  • Our donations aid the marine animal hospital and science education center- they rehabilitate and release stranded marine mammals and sea turtles in order to advance science and education in marine wildlife health and conservation.
